- First, you have to cut down the woody bottom of the Asparagus.
- Take a large pan/skillet and add water to the pan/skillet. Bring the water to a boil or high heat.
- Add the Asparagus in an even layer. You don’t have to swamp Asparagus completely in water. If the water doesn’t cover the Asparagus, use a lid to cover the pan to capture the heat of the steam.
