Homemade Healthy Chicken Mince Sausage Rolls Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 kg Chicken (Minced or grounded)
  • 150 g Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 35 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil (Finely Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 5 Frozen Puff Pastry (Sheets)
  • 1 An Extra Egg
  • 75 g Drained Tomatoes (Semi-dried)
Homemade Healthy Chicken Mince Sausage Rolls Recipe Instructions:
  1. Step 1.

    First, you have to combine ingredients such as breadcrumbs, chicken, onion, egg, basil, tomato paste, and semi-dried tomatoes in a bowl. 

  2. Step 2.

    Now, place a pastry sheet on a floured surface so that it won't stick to the surface when you lift it up to place it in a baking tray. Cut the pastry sheet in half and spread the mixture with a spoon, fold the edges of the pastry, and tuck in the filling.

    Press it gently by hand to seal. Repeat the same process with other remaining pastry sheets and cut the roll into 3cm pieces. 

  3. Step 3.

    It's time to preheat the oven to 220°C. Place all the rolls on baking sheets and chill for around 30 mins. Brush these rolls with egg white and sprinkle some sesame seeds to garnish. 

  4. Step 4.

    The last step is to bake these rolls for 25-30 mins. until they get light brown in color. Your homemade healthy chicken sausage rolls are ready to eat. You can serve it with tomato sauce (ketchup).
