Here, we come up with an Easy Homemade Vanilla Sponge Cake Recipe. This cake recipe is perfect for all your layer cakes. If you want a 4 layer cake, you just have to double the quantity and Enjoy!
First, you have to preheat the oven to 320°F or 160°C and line it with baking paper 2 cake moulds 6 inches / 5 cm in diameter and 7 cm. high.
Now, take the bowl of your standing mixer and start beating the butter with vanilla and sugar until you get light as well as a fluffy mixture.
When doing this beating process, add eggs one by one and mix well.
Sift the flour then add to this mixture including with a pinch of salt and slow down the speed so that flour mix well and you get a homogeneous mixture.
Pour this mixture into your cake pan.
It's time to bake this batter for 45-55 minutes or test your cake with a simple knife, place this knife in the center of your cake. If your knife comes out clean without any traces of dough, then it's perfectly baked and ready to serve.
Let the cake cool before removing it from the mould. After a few minutes, remove it from the mould let it cool completely on a wire rack.
