Easy Homemade Seafood (Prawn) Laksa Recipe Ingredients:
  • 250 g Vermicelli
  • 1 (20ml) tbsp Peanut Oil
  • 1/4 cup Laksa Paste
  • 750 ml Massel vegetable liquid stock
  • 400 ml Coconut Milk
  • 750 g Green Prawns (Shelled, tails on)
  • 250 g Scallops
  • 100 g Tofu (Deep Fried)
  • 100 g Bean Sprouts (Trimmed)
  • 1/2 cup Coriander
  • 1/2 cup Vietnamese Mint
  • 1/2 cup Thai Basil Leaves (Extra to Serve)
  • 1 Small red Chilli (Cut into thin strips and seeds removed)
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts (Chopped)
  • Fried Asian Shallots (to garnish)
Easy Homemade Seafood (Prawn) Laksa Recipe Instructions:
  1. Step 1.

    The first thing you have to do is place the vermicelli in a bowl and cover it with boiling water. Let it soak for 10 mins, then drain and set aside. 

  2. Step 2.

    Now, pour oil into a wok and let it heat. Add the laksa paste and stir-fry for 1 min. Stir in the stock, bring to boil, then add the coconut milk and simmer for 2 mins. 

    Add Green Prawns, Scallops, and Deep Fried Tofu and cook for 2 mins before adding 1 teaspoon of salt. 

  3. Step 3.

    Your Easy Homemade Seafood (Prawn) Laksa Recipe is ready to serve now. 

    You just have to take 4 bowls and divide the noodles among the bowls. Top with bean sprouts and fresh herbs. Now, pour the laksa soup over the noodles. Divide the seafood (Prawns) equally among the bowls. 

    Garnish with slices of chilipeanutsshallots, and extra fresh herbs.
