Easy Homemade Madeira Cake Recipe Ingredients:
  • 150 grams Butter
  • 150 grams Sugar
  • 3 Small Eggs
  • 150 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 50 grams Plain Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Flavoring (Orange or Lemon or Vanilla)
  • 1 Zest of Whole (Orange or Lemon)
Easy Homemade Madeira Cake Recipe Instructions:
  1. Step 1.

    Take a cake pan, coat it with butter, and line it with baking paper. Set it aside. 

    Now, take a mixing bowl, add in butter and sugar, mix well until it gets fluffy and smooth. 

  2. Step 2.

    Break eggs in a separate bowl, add milk and flavor (lemon or orange or vanilla), whisk well.

    When it's done combine this mixture with butter and sugar mixture and mix with a mixer for a few mins. 

  3. Step 3.

    Add flour to the batter and mix with a spatula. Pour cake batter in a lined cake pan and place in preheated oven. 

    Now, bake at 170°C for 45 mins or till the cake tester comes out clean. 

  4. Step 4.

    Remove the cake from the baking tray place it on a cooling rack & leave it for cool. Your Easy Homemade Madeira Cake is ready to eat. Enjoy!
