Easy Homemade Fluffy Pikelets Recipe Ingredients:
  • 185 grams Plain Flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoons White Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 185 milliliters Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
  • 2 teaspoons Butter
Easy Homemade Fluffy Pikelets Recipe Instructions:
  1. Step 1.

    Firstly, sieve flour and soda together in a medium-sized bowl. Add sugar and stir gradually, add an egg without stopping stirring and pour enough milk for a smooth pouring consistency. Rest 15 minutes so that the batter gets raised and give fluffy pikelets. 

  2. Step 2.

    Now, take a large non-stick pan and heat it on a medium flame. Brush the surface with butter and work in 3 batches of 6. Drop a tablespoon of batter into the pan and spread it in a circular motion. Cook 1-2 mins until bubbles appear on the surface. Turn and cook 1/2 to 1 min further until you see golden color. Always brush your pan surface when you switch batches. 

  3. Step 3.
