Easy Homemade Creamy Chicken Risotto Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 lb Chicken Breast (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Large Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 cup Long Grain White Rice
  • 1 Condensed Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic Soup
  • 2 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Basil Leaves (Chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
Easy Homemade Creamy Chicken Risotto Recipe Instructions:
  1. Step 1.

    Take a 12-inch skillet and add 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Add Chicken and Cook for 15 mins. or until it gets brown from both sides. 

    Remove the chicken when done and cover it to keep warm. 

  2. Step 2.

    Now, reduce the heat from high to medium. Add onions and cook for 3 mins. Add 1 tbsp butter again and cook the rice and stir as well for 2 mins. or until the rice gets browned. 

  3. Step 3.

    Stir in the chicken broth and heat to boil. Now, reduce the heat from medium to low. Cover and cook for 25 mins. or until the rice gets soft, stir occasionally. 

  4. Step 4.

    Add chicken in skillet again. Stir in peas, 2 tbsp basil, and 1 tbsp parmesan cheese. Cover and cook for 5 mins. or until chicken is hot.
