First, take a large frying pan and heat the butter. Add smoked bacon lardons and fry for 5 mins over low-medium heat.

Pour the wine and allow it to bubble away. Now, pour chicken stock and set a timer for 20 mins.
Let it cook and stir frequently so that it won't stick to the pan. Splash some chicken stock as it gets absorbed. Repeat the process until the rice is cooked and most of the stock has been absorbed.
